TRULLENQUE
Biography

Santi Trullenque is an award-winning film director, photographer and producer based in Barcelona and Madrid, working across fiction and documentary cinema.

His work is driven by a strong visual language and an interest in the poetic and psychological dimensions of cinema. He explores hybrid narrative forms, moving between realism, essayistic cinema and visual experimentation, often focusing on character, memory and the relationship between image and perception. He has directed feature films, short films and documentaries, as well as projects for public broadcasters including TV3, TVE and betevé. His first feature film, The Burning Cold (El fred que crema), premiered in 2023. His work has been presented internationally at film festivals including New York Film Festival and Sitges Film Festival, and has received awards and nominations at various international festivals, as well as nominations for major Spanish awards such as the Gaudí Awards. Trullenque studied at the Rogue Film School led by Werner Herzog and is currently developing new feature-length projects while expanding his activity as an independent producer.
